To make your own bridal bouquet you must first you have an idea of what bouquet style you want. Every bride has her unique style. You must keep in mind your height and body size. Bouquets must keep your overall look and balance and enhance your beauty. You will not like a large flowing bouquet if you’re very slim or petite. If you are tall or voluptuous, a delicate bouquet will not do.

You must have a budget for the flowers and choose what flowers you want. Flowers have different meanings and they symbolize many things. Flowers in themselves could be a love language. Some examples are baby’s breath for pure heart, happiness and festivity and carnations for fascination and pure love. But still the most famous universal symbol of love is the rose. To make your bridal bouquet, first gather all the materials you will need.  This includes, flowers, florist styrofoam, greenery, lace, ribbons, glue gun and glue sticks, pins, scissors and other accessories. Place the bouquet holder upside down in a bowl of warm water and hold to the handle. Remove the holder and dry the exterior after the foam is already saturated. Place it in your line of vision. Imagine the design you want and envision how you will place the flowers.  Begin to place the greenery at the bottom; it could be a fern or ivy to give it a cascade look. Cut the stems of the flowers long, about 5 inches so that in case they need to be shorter you can cut and adjust it anytime. Then begin to place the flowers depending on the design you want. For instance, if you want a ball of roses attach your ribbon at the length that you want to have the bouquet hang when you carry it. You must put the roses closer together so that it will look round like a ball of roses. Use pins in case the flower or ribbon may fall apart. Add other accessories to add to design to your bouquet.  You can experiment with other complicated designs if you like. Just use your imagination and creativity.

If you are not satisfied with the result don’t give up. Take it apart carefully and do it again. Practice until you get the design you want. Devote enough time to this so that when the big day arrives your bouquet will be perfect. The bouquet must be kept in a cool and moist place so that it will remain fresh until your wedding day.
